Toronto toy drive hits goal of 1,000 gifts for seriously ill children to help families ‘through the toughest moments’

When Marky Czutrin was undergoing treatment for cancer when he was younger, he loved receiving toys in the hospital during the holidays. 

Now the 10-year-old Toronto boy is healthy after his three-year journey and is returning the favour as a volunteer at Chai Lifeline Canada, a national charity that supports children and parents with serious illnesses.
