Toronto under prolonged extreme heat event with ‘little relief.’ Here’s how hot it could get this week

Toronto’s first official week of summer will start with a heat warning issued Monday and “dangerously hot and humid conditions” extending through the rest of the week, according to Environment Canada. 

Daytime highs will hover around 30 C to 35 C with humidex values ranging from 40 to 45. The weather agency also said there will be “little relief” overnight as lows are expected to be around 20 to 23 degrees C with humidex values of 26 to 30.
