The Toronto Zoo welcomed two baby snow leopards earlier this week after their mother, Jita, was pregnant for 97 days.
In a release from the zoo Thursday, Jita went into labour this past Monday evening. The first cub was born that day at 7:45 p.m., while the second arrived in the early morning hours Tuesday. Jita and the cubs are not yet on display for the public, but the zoo says there will be updates on when they will be.
