Fare gates at TTC stations aren’t opening for customers Thursday morning, possibly due to network authentication issues, the transit agency says.
In a post on X, TTC said, “We’re aware of an intermittent issue with fare gates where they may not open (for) some customers.”
We’re aware of an intermittent issue with fare gates where they may not open some customers tapping credit/debit cards. Appears related to network authentication. We’re working with @PRESTOcard and Rogers to resolve the issue. If you experience this, speak to staff for access.
