TTC service on buses and streetcars can be ‘appallingly bad’ because of a common problem, report finds

Only 10 TTC bus and streetcar routes in the city are meeting the transit agency’s own goal for on-time service during rush hour.

That’s the conclusion of a study by a transit advocacy group that looked at the effects of “bunching,” a term for what happens when multiple buses or streetcars arrive simultaneously.
