TTC to reroute Spadina buses over traffic congestion

Less than two weeks after launching them, the TTC is rerouting the buses that have replaced the Spadina streetcar in an attempt to avoid the worst congestion on the busy downtown road.

Starting Monday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, the 510 buses will no longer run on Spadina Avenue between Front Street and Queens Quay. During these hours, buses will instead turn left on Front and then right on Blue Jays Way, looping around back to Spadina.
