Two seriously injured in collision after shots fired at vehicle in North York

Two people are in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries due a collision after reports of shots being fired from one vehicle to another in North York on Monday.

Toronto police said the alleged gunshots occurred near Yonge Street and Empress Avenue around 10:45 a.m. There were initially no reported injuries, but officers later said a man and woman were taken to hospital after a collision involving a vehicle rollover that is believed to be related to the shooting.
