York police have warned the public of potential dangers while using replica firearms after two teens were charged for allegedly shooting gel-guns in Vaughan last week.
After multiple incidents in July, police have said that due to replica firearms looking identical to real guns, officers having to “make a quick decision” as to whether the weapon is real, a toy, or replica could lead to “significant consequences.”
