Air Canada has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to San Diego, California down to $365 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can also find nonstop flights to…
Las Vegas — $306 roundtrip
Los Angeles – $306-$331 roundtrip
Phoenix — $339 roundtrip

But San Diego is the best deal. It’s been a long time since there were great prices to SAN (last seen in 2020).
Update: Porter has now dropped the price of their nonstop flights from Toronto to San Diego down to $326-$374 CAD roundtrip for travel in January (and a couple dates in December). This is their ‘includes carry-on’ price. You can book flights without carry-on for $243-$278 roundtrip. See the paragraph below this one.
Start with the Google Flights link below to explore for dates and then go to this discount code page on the Porter website and try the same dates.
You can use the same small discount on Porter’s flights to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. And everywhere else they fly (Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers).
You can also try searching for the same dates on Skyscanner – this will be the cheapest ‘without carry-on’ price.
